Ingredient: Lactic Acid

Lactic Acid is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), usually derived from milk, but there are alternative vegan sources such as fermented cornstarch, beets, and other foods high in sugar. It has a mild exfoliating action on the skin, as it loosens the bonds between dead skin cells to reveal a more radiant complexion. Lactic acid brightens, smoothes and evens out skin tone, while giving it a firmer look. Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots. It is perfect for dull, dehydrated or dry skin.

⚠️⁠ Warning: These ingredients make your skin more sensitive to the sun. You should use products with lactic acid preferably at night and apply a good sunscreen in the morning. You should avoid using it in conjunction with other exfoliating ingredients and with retinol.
